Hey everyone! After a while of following this forum, I've finally gotten around to making a profile.
Let me introduce myself: My name is Kyle, and as the title indicates, I'm from Norman, Oklahoma. I first started reading about the Egg about a year ago after I had my Father-in-law's ribs and started reading up on smokers. Ever since I found this forum, I have been hooked! My wife surprised me with a large BGE when I graduated from OU this May...and I have cooked nearly every meal on the Egg since! I have learned so much and have been inspired to cook great meals since I found this forum and got my Egg.
I really appreciate the members of this forum taking the time to share photos of their day-to-day cooks. So, on my first post, I'd like to share one of my recent cooks.
A few nights ago I baked bread bowls on the Egg for some potato soup I was making on the stove. The potato soup recipe is from the Pioneer Woman, and the bread recipe is the Crusty European-Style Hard Rolls recipe from King Arthur Flour. I've done pizza and soft pretzels on the Egg so far, but this is my first shot at anything like this. The soup and bread bowls turned out great and I can't wait to bake more bread on the Egg (need to get a sourdough starter...).
Here is the unshaped dough:

Plated with soup:
Thanks for reading and for all of the great advice to be had on these forums!

Does everyone just copy the IMG code to insert image? I just tried pasting the code into the messg area, but that didn't work either. Maybe the photos are too large.- Proud owner of a Large BGE- Norman, OK

Thanks for the welcome. I'm trying to post from my laptop. I tried copying the IMG link from photobucket to "insert image" and I tried just posting the code in the message block. After that, I thought the photo might have been too large, so I shrunk it to about 400 pixels.- Proud owner of a Large BGE- Norman, OK

Looks like attaching the photo worked. I assume the "insert image" option is for posting images in line with text. I'll give that a try on my iphone. Thanks for the help everyone!- Proud owner of a Large BGE- Norman, OK

I thought I had followed that same procedure @Solson005 . Let me try again, looks like it worked for you.Testing Direct link:- Proud owner of a Large BGE- Norman, OK

Thanks so much everyone! Can't wait to start posting more photos! What size photo do most people go with? I think I might need to scale the size down a bit.- Proud owner of a Large BGE- Norman, OK

Glad it worked. I like the bigger pictures, they resize when viewing them on phones and tablets. But other people prefer to attach pictures, I have never had anyone complain my pictures are too large so it's really up to you.
The bread bowls look great by the way! I may have to add that to my ever growing list of things to try!Large & Small BGE, CGW Two-Tier Swing Rack for BOTH EGGS, Spider for the Wok, eggCARTen & and Cedar Pergola my Eggs call home in Edmond, OK. -
